Why The Best Workout Music Is So Important

Do you want to keep in shape without taking part in an exercsie routine that quickly becomes nothing more than a daily torture routine? Try accompanying your fitness efforts with music! Correct rhythms increase your efficiency and strength, trains your heart and helps you fight fatigue.

Music has very powerful motivational qualities which are conferred by the musicality, rhythm, the cultural and psychological impact of associations that they cause. If the cultural impact gives you the strength to continue, the pace of the song is associated and it is taken in the same intensity by the heart rate. The music you listen while working out has a major impact on your workout routines. This is why the combination of music and exercise has many benefits:

Increased endurance

In a recent study, researchers found that people who ride a bike listening to music inspired 7% less oxygen than those who pedal without music, on the same distance and duration of exercise. This causes a much higher endurance to physical demands, improving breathing and increasing exercise capacity.

Also, music helps you realize when you should stop. If you normally run without realizing when you should stop, music improves brain functions and helps you realize the impact of exercise on your body.

Another study made at John Moores University in Liverpool has made it more visible effects of music on exercise. The researchers gave a group of cyclists a single song for more cycling series. What subjects did not know was that songs have different rhythms.

At first, it was played in its normal rhythm, but the beat got faster, respectively slower by 10%. The differences in tempi were not very big, but the effects were significant.

Playing the music at a higher speed, increased the strength and intensity of the exercise by 2.1, 3.5 respectively 0.7% and slowing it increased the efficiency by 3.8, 9.8, respectively 5.9%.

Many experts say that the best workout music is the music that makes us be more energetic and this varies from person to person.
