What’s The Best Cheap Cupcake Stand?
When shopping for a cheap cupcake stand, it’s easy to be overwhelmed by the huge number of choices. There are a few really good ones, and a lot of really bad ones out there, and in this post I hope to clear the air up a little bit for you so you can make a good decision and save a lot of money!
The word “cheap” is obviously a matter of opinion, but for the sake of this post I want to consider it to mean anything less than the average price for a cupcake stand.

On the surface that seems like a great price, but you have to consider what you’re getting. Since it’s made from styrofoam it will blow away in the wind if it’s not loaded up, and will break very easily. I’ve actually broken a brand new one of these while putting it together! There are better choices out there!
Wilton has always been known for making high quality baking products and selling them at low prices. This holds true for their cupcake stands as well. From the most basic stands, all the way up to full sized towers, these are going to be the best “bang for your buck”. Figure out what size stand you need, then find the Wilton stand that matches.
If you’re looking for something that you can use once then recycle, look into cardboard cupcake stands. These are very affordable, and usually come in around $10 for mid-sized stands. They are very easy to decorate, sturdy, and can be recycled as soon as you’re done with it.
There are a lot of cheap cupcake stands out there, but some are just junk! Go with Wilton for reusable stands, and cardboard if you want something that can be tossed as soon as you’re finished with it.
