A rocking chair is the must have piece of bedroom furniture for your new nursery. A well built rocker is a marriage of good design, comfort, durability and beauty. It is the center piece for you and your child to bond. You will probably spend many hours together in this chair. That is why, when it comes to buying a rocking chair, that you make sure that it is the most comfortable, practical and safe piece of furniture for you and your baby.

Is it well-built?
A well built rocking chair, whether a traditional style wooden rocking or a glider rocking chair, will be sturdy. It will move smoothly and silently and will feel safe and sturdy to use. If a rocking chair wobbles or squeaks as it moves this is an indication of poor construction methods or materials. You need to know that your rocking chair is very safe for you both.
