Back Workout Tips

The lat pull down is a great exercise to strengthen your back muscles. You might have to go out and by a lat machine, but it will be well worth your investment. The exercise requires that you pull a bar under tension from above your head and down to your back or chest. This allows you to work a full range of muscles, including the back. This is a well rounded exercise to add to your arsenal.

The pull up is a tried and tested way to work out your back muscles. The pull up not only works out your back, but your chest and arm muscle groups. Home Exercise and Fitness Tips For New Moms

When you are a new mom (either the first time or there after), you will probable want to get your figure back as soon as possible. But as it is usually a long time since you have worked out, you have to go about it smartly and you also got to have smart workout tips to help you workout safely and effectively. Here are 10 of them:

1. Consult with your doctor

When it is the first time you are going to exercise since your baby has been born, it is advised that you consult with your doctor first before undertaking any exercise.

2. Start slow

Don’t just jump into your new exercise plan. Rather take it slow the first couple of times.

3. Set goals

Setting goals will help you to get the most out of your exercise plan and it will also motivate you more.

4. Take up Pilates

Pilates strengthens the core (the muscles of your lower back, hip flexors and abs), so you will get your tummy back in shape in no time.

5. Do light cardio exercise

You should do light cardio (walking, and light cardio machine intensity) for at least the first month on your new training program. Eliptical machine exercise is both efficient and light enough for new moms.

6. Do light weight training

7 Remember to warm up before exercise

You should always warm up before you do any exercise.

Enlist the help of a friend to workout with you. It will be a great way to stay motivated and to also socialize a bit.
