Or if you wanted to heat food up from the fridge, but did not want to wash the pan? Well, the future is here. Microwave ovens are the perfect tools for heating up food. A microwave oven can save you so much time and trouble. If you think you can not really afford a microwave, think again. Microwave ovens are not as expensive as they used to be. Now you can get a reasonable microwave oven for as little as 50 dollars brand new.
What about the rumors that microwaves fry your brain cells? Microwaves are dangerous to your cells, however so few actually escape from the confines of the oven to be of any worry to you. If you are worried about how the waves will affect you, you should know that waves have no influence on the healthiness of the food you eat. It is still as healthy it was when it was cold, only now it tastes better because it is piping hot. There are a general rules about using a microwave oven that you should be aware of.
Rule number one never put anything metal into a microwave. If you do, you should be ready for sparks galore, and possible damage to your oven. Rule number two It is not advisable to boil water in a microwave oven. If you want to heat water, then it is fine. But if you want to boil water, you are better off with a pot and stove. Microwaves react with boiling water in a way that makes the water burst out of the cup when disturbed. This may cause serious burns when you pick up your mug.
