PS3 Games – Infamous

One of the most popular PS3 bundles is the one that features Infamous.  Infamous is an open world video game which is used for the play station 3 video game consoles. Sucker Punch productions developed it while it was published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game was released to the world in 2009. In the game the player controls the hero who happens to be Cole McGrath. He is a messenger on a bike who is caught in the middle of an explosion that devastates several blocks in the empire city. The explosion sends the city into a panic mode and the player discovers that he has a super power which is electricity based. He tries to use his super powers to restore the city and bring order.

As a player you are given a variety of choices to use these powers for both good and evil purposes. This is facilitated by the games karma system. This affects the main characters personality and how the people in the city react to how he uses his powers. The theme of the game was derived from the cooper series of stealth based games. The development of the game helps to ease the introduction of the super powers by unconventional means. The game was inspired by certain comics such as DMZ and No Man’s Land. The soundtrack was done by Amon Tobin who worked with other artists so that it can blend in well with the game and reflect the environment.

The game is popular among many people who love playing ps3 games and it was well received by the gaming press who had nothing short of praises for it. Many games have been made out of its theme later but it still stands out because it is very interesting. The end of the game heavily depends on the players’ karma. If you choose your superpowers in a good way Cole ensures that the city is restored but if you used them for evil it will not be restored and you have to play again.
