My Take On The Wealthy Affiliate University Scam
Someone asked me the other day “What is the Wealthy Affiliate University scam? I have never heard of a University scamming anyone before, and what a funny name for a University!”
Well I had to laugh at that because it was pretty funny, but then I explained that Wealthy Affiliate University is an online membership program that teaches people how to make money, and that some people say that it’s a scam, hence the name “Wealthy Affiliate University scam.”
Now if you want to know what my take is on it, I’ll tell you. I wouldn’t say that the program is a scam at all although I can understand why people would be sceptical about any program that promises to make you a lot of money Online. It gives you a very thorough understanding of affiliate marketing, and I’ve make good money through affiliate marketing, as have a lot of other people. But I think that one of the reasons that people might think that the program is a scam is because they have gone into it with false expectations.
Some people are really looking for a way to get rich fast because there are unfortunately some people who try to spread the idea that that is possible, but the truth is that if you want to be successful financially with any venture then you are going to have to put in a huge amount of effort. Very few people make money on their first day of internet marketing, and those that do are usually blessed with an extra large dose of what they call “beginner’s luck”. It takes time to know what your’e doing and to learn the ropes and really start to see success, and anyone who thinks that they are going to be successful right away is probably going to find out the hard way that that simply isn’t the case, and will think that whatever program they are trying is a scam.
If you are interested in affiliate marketing, then I think that Wealthy Affiliate does a good job of teaching the ins and outs of it. But it won’t happen overnight, so don’t join thinking that it will, if you aren’t willing to work hard and not see results for at least a few months then you should give it a miss and search for the next big Internet Marketing “guru” who promises to sell you the secrets of making money Online without doing any hard work.
