Packaging goods has changed overtime. Before, it is as simple as wrapping something in plastic then evolved in wrapping them in bubble wraps. It keeps the product safe from molds that can build up within due to moistures when the climate changes from area to area or country to country. When packed together in a box side by side and on top of each other, the product is also protected from scratches that can cause eyesore to buyers that may result to them not wanting to buy your stock. A clamshell package answers problems of suppliers, it may cost a bit more but the assurance of the product being at its top condition is assured.
