If you’re a person who wants to get of stress in your life, you need to forget it because you can’t get rid of stress all together. The human body was not made to eliminate all stress from our lives, and the reality is a little stress is good for you. However, if you don’t have one of top ten stress free jobs and you’re aiming to alleviate all the unnecessary stress that affects many people today then here are a few stress management tips that can help you.

  • Have a sense of humor
  • Time management- Manage your time well
  • Get quality sleep
  • Exercise regularly

Have a Plan- stop going thru life aimlessly and have a plan. You be surprise how much stress you would alleviate if you had setup a plan or goals to achieve in your life. Plus you can break down that plan to as many parts as you want.

Have a sense of humor- Make a conscious effort to always have a sense of humor because nine of ten times most things in life are just not that serious. A good sense of humor will always help you defeat and overcome stress.

Time Management- Another way to relieve stress is to incorporate time management skills into your daily routine because good time management is of very important. For example, have you ever met a person who gets a lot of things done during the day, but it seems that they have more than 24hrs to it?

The truth is they have the same 24hrs in a day that you have, but they just know how to manage their time a little better. Because if you know how to manage your time effectively during the day you will seldom create a stressful situations. So a good start to time management would be to allocate specific periods of time for work, play, and exercise.  Once you begin, follow the set schedule regularly.

Get a Good Night’s Sleep- getting some sleep is very important in alleviating and controlling stress in your life. And I’m not just talking about sleep, but quality sleep(between 6-8hrs). When you wake up in the morning you should feel fresh and well rested. If this is not the case, you should visit your physician to find out the cause and get it treated. Having poor sleep patterns can be could cause of many health problems or stress that you are experiencing. Getting some good sleep is an important factor in relieving your stress.

Exercising on a Regular Basis- exercising on a consistent basis has been proven to be a genuine stress buster. If you exercise regularly you are always building you body and mine which will help you keep stress away. Also, you must not only exercise and maintain the outside, but maintain the inside of your body. Eating healthy and nutritious foods will keep you in good health, and keep doctor’s visit to a minimum.
